  1. ALWAYS carry a spare..............of course I learned the hard way ,when mine went in a driving snow storm (of course the only one we had last winter) and I had the luxury of walking the 3 miles back into town............blew the only chance of having fun in the snow out here!!!!!!
  2. 261,000, baby.............(wish it didn't have the rust thing going, but.........)
  3. Thanks so much for the reply's... looks like I've got work to do this weekend ripping that axle out again!!
  4. Hello, I just replaced my drivers' side axle (reman) and within 1 mile it broke at the outside cv joint - took it back to thifty and the guy said he'd never heard of that happening (right)...anyway the next one "seems" to be okay, except I'm feeling a serious shake/shimmy while accelerating but not while coasting....I know the rotors need changing but don't think that could be it (doesn't happen when I'm braking either) If the wheel alignment was off it would still shake while coasting, wouldn't it? any ideas?
  5. Hey, don't know if I can do much good.....(no cell phone) but if you have any problems during my work hours (0630 - 1600) today (monday) and tomorrow (won't be back in until next monday) I'll do what I can.......I work in Portland,OR 503-335-4375. Good luck!!
