so heres the problem. my car was starting to run warm on freeway driving but would kick down when the needle was about 3/4 up to about 1/4. i thought it was my thermostat being sticky so i replaced it the other day (195 degree). now it runs at about 1/2 to 3/4 on the gauge. but really starts to get warm when my cars struggles up hills. and will cool back down if i coast it as long as i can. i am not leaking coolant from my water pump or weep hole. coolant might be dissapearing but im not 100% sure. my heater also doesnt work but i do have pressure in my upper radiator hose when car is running. im at a stand still for what to do next so i am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. thanks in advance.

one thing i found to work was the black magis tire spray. have to apply it very evenly and it has seemed to last for a while but still need to reapply occasionally.

and where are the most common rust spots besides the wheel wells i shoudl check? thank you

well im looking at a brat but im not sure if its a gen1 or a gen2 but i was curious about how dependable they are

i have heard the ea81 engines are pretty bullet proof, is this true?

well what it seems like is that its mostly bolt in in a gen two brat http://usmb.net/gallery/garners-sub-a-rama?page=1 this guy has an ea82t in his gen2 but doesnt look like he had to mod too much

would the ea82t bolt into the engine mounts?

i was wondering if it was possiable to put a ea82t and a D/R 5SPD in a brat i am looking at that as my next project seeing as how i am bored of my loyale and cant get the ground clearence i want anyway. not enough people for help in the retrofit

ive been looking but i can only find parts of swaps not the whole swap i wanna do. im sure someone has done it

im looking at purchasing a lift kit for my 91 loyale. what is a good lift kit i should use. it is my daily driver and i want good ground clearance cause im up at hood everyweekend. also i read in a post about 5th gear being compeletly useless can someone fill me in?

hmm what about a ej22t?

would i need the radiator from the ej22 also? also my first swap so i dont wanna get in over my head or out of a car for too long

would the ej22 bolt in to the mounts without fabrication?

i wanted to swap the whole engine with a JDM engine

also i heard that seats from a late model xt will bolt in, is there any other seats that will or has anyone doe a seat swap

i was looking at ea82t's for a swap in my 91 loyale with a standard ea82. would that be a straight swap? with not mush problems. basically im asking if the turbo will work/fit
