  1. The other day I noticed the Oil Pressure gauge will varies form 25 to 50 or almost 70 is that normal is my oil pump wearing out? Is that possible? Who knows where to get new rear suspension, what brands to stay away from? I'd like to upgrade to somthing more suited for some real off-road abuse? Any knowledge helps! What are a few things I should watch out for, on a '86 2-D hatch with 148K? The engine is stamped EA81.
  2. I was tying out the "Hill Stop" feature in my car (showing off this amazing bit of tech.), and it locked in place. I let the clutch out and instead of driving smoothly uphill, the breaks squeaked in protest, and I got all red faced as I was just preaching the superiority of the Soob! Is it possible the clutch is adujsted so far that the points where the clutch engages and the hill stop disengeges are starting to overlap?

  4. I just bought my '86 GL 4X4 2-D hatch and I love it! Is there any place in the Seattle area to get used/new parts, or reliable work done? Please help! I really want to do right but this little car, I've always kicked myself for selling my '91 Justy 4X4. Also, in general, what other Subie models can I swap parts with?
