Hey Bill, I'm Kinda new to the forum. I noticed you started with an auto tranny. I too need to swap out my 3 speed auto for a d/r. I've got a donor car for parts and a list of what i need. What I am looking for is an estimate on the time required to actually do the swap. I have never pulled an engine,tranny or done any clutch work. To give you an idea of my skill level, I was able to replace both rear shocks, a ball joint and an axle assembly up front in about three hours. I have a good set of hand tools but no impact wrench as of yet. I live in redmond oregon. If you point me to a member in my area that could help, that would be awsome. I have a shop buddy and a weekend, can I do it???
