Hi All,
I got a 95 legacy outback wagon with 189672 miles. Engine runs great, just need to replace a wheel bearing, brakes and possibly struts.
I love her like I love my wife.
I have found Timing belts and pulley on E-Bay for 150 or so.
At least here in Vermont, I know of a couple of places that charge 5-600 for belt, water pump, pulleys and labor. Not sure what it might cost in your area.
Also question to Everyone else. Should timing belts be changed around 60-80000 miles?
I am buying a 95 Legacy "L" Outback wagon. This one has a sloppy shifter (manual). The guy I am getting from says there is a spring that keeps it tight. How hard of a job is it to fix?
