That was mine. It is the only one I've ever seen in real life... I've seen picture but this was the real thing. It came out of Iowa, from McBrat.

If you have another one it would probably command the same price range, however be prepared to do some serious crating and shipping costs.

  2. Hopefully you saved all your receipts for ALL work done. including receipts from before you owned it. Even down to the .50 bolt.

Create a list of all these reciepts, add it to the KBB price.

I had a nearly IDENTICAL situation happen with a 94 lifted Toyota, the only difference is that I was at a stop sign on the road. I forced the insurance company to value the car (an 82 DL Brat in primo condition) at $5500.00. Th repairs cost nearly $3500.00 to rebuild the back end and pay for a rental for THREE MONTHS while replacement parts were located.

You don't have to accept the "totaled" settlement. Make them fix it!

  3. Over the months the more I read about Shady, the more I think he's not so shady!

Many folks over the years have had difficulties with others on this board and I would like to think that AA has made a respectable name for itself.

I have done no business with them, My opinion only comes from what I read.

    Good luck Shady I

  4. I have to say that the Toyota 4 runner seats (93 or 4) that I put in my brat Are pretty sweat ajustable Headrest , Lumbar,Under your knees and on both sides of your torso. They are some work getting in but its definetly worth it once your on the road no movement in the seat while rallying and I drive to the flathead valley in Montana its about

How much was the total rise from the floor to butt level withthe new seats? I have played with a 280 z, and Dodge stratus Power seats, but ended up going back to the original Subies because I lost to much head room.

  5. Home safe and sound.

We pulled in at 7pm so it ended up being about 6 1/2 hours back. We went down 35 to 70 and over instead, just to have a straight Hwy shot. A little longer, but smoother. I even got the Brat to stabalize (with out shaking) at 70 mph for extended periods, and she ran smooth.

We had a great time. Taylor had a blast playing with Indy all weekend and didn't complain about ANYTHING! Wow. Of course the marshmallows probably helped a bit!

Not a drop of mud to be seen, unless you were down by the lake... The weather was beautiful too.

It's always fun seeing friends that you don't get to see very often and this was no exception. Tim and Vicky (and the girls), Mick and Indy, Kurt and Christine (sp?), Matt and Sarah, and of course Taylor and I - all had a chance to spend time around the campfire. AND I WASN'T WORRIED ABOUT MOWING THE LAWN!

With Indy picking up all the bottlecaps, and Taylor picking up all the pine cones, that place was imaculate!!!

The meet at the shelter went well and we did have the Impreza's to balance out the old school. (A silver Celica snuck in there at one point... :-0 ). Eyesore, Subiemech, and Russ (forgot his board name) made it, along with "Bill"- he showed up at the last minute in his black legacy, just as we were pulling out, so he followed us back to the campsite for a bit.

I hope I didn't forget anybody, I enjoyed meeting averyone.

Thanks Mick for doing the organizing, and Tim/Vicky for helping out with reservations. The campsite was very well run and very clean, I was quite impressed.

I'll post my pic's later, but right now I have to get back to work...

    Later-

    Kurt
