  1. make me a reasonable offer....this is a homebuilt raise......8" in frt.,10" in rear....some features are..... new milemarker 5500winch....five matching tires on chevy rims...5 sp...d/r......straight exhaust..welded rear.....3.9 gears ....roof lights........spare parts.....alt.,starter,one rear strut,rad.fan assy.,etc........all doors,frt sheet,and hatch are white now.......

the bad.....needs steering column upper bearing, tune up would be a plus, bent rear strut (have a spare)...prolly more i'm forgeting.......

and free dents pre installed

want up dated pix ?....p.m. me.

  2. i lifted my gl wagon 10 inches......used offset chevy rims......26" tires......it naturely cambed the rear to the negative side.....handles very well.......traction from hell.........real happy with the results........drives fine on the freeway..........and for sale....:slobber:

  3. what i find disturbing is the lack of respect for the orv land use areas themselves.......example:we went camping/quadding/4x4ing at tahuya....an area in wa. maintained by quadrapaws......on the 4x4 loop you could follow the path a soul took by following the red dog beer cans.....   i saw alot of beer cans matter of fact......i just don't understand these fools.....same weekend these here city boys rolled in with their "late night party as i want" attitude in their lowered-mega diesel trailer pulling a castle on wheels .......sheesh....when they left i went to their campsite just to see what kind of dudes they were........what a bunch of no respect AZZWHOLES.....they left it filthy........   HEY CITY BOYS ............KEEP IT IN THE CITY ....WE DON'T NEED OR WANT ANY.

i can see why the naysayers are as they are....

ok i'm off my soap box.

  4. welp ..............we just had an ice/snow weather here in the great norfwest. broke out the soobie........it drove like it was dry pavement....i have 15' studded snows made for a vw bug ...skinny as heck....lifted 8" also.....it is actually not that fun in the ice and snow....it gets way too much traction ....lol......it is incredible...we went up camp govey way with some toyotas..(they sucked for as popular as they are)...every hill we came to i was on there rump roast and could actually stop and wait on the steepest grades and take off like it was dry..........very happy:grin:

i did my lift this summer....cause is had this soobie just sitting there, didn't use it anymore and i didn't even know USRM even was here....kinda bored so i just lifted it on my own ....then i found this board :brow: .....

  5. uhhhhh what they said.........i was assuming you wanted to use 100% alc. not e85........the new e85 fuel vehicles can use either fuel....the 'puter senses the change of fuel and does what is required for the engine to survive.......everyone is dabbling in alt fuels....with limited success...someone will hit on the right thing and all will be well.....til then the public will be the guinna pig........   and pay.............

  6. ok you will have to understand what kind of paint that is underneath the spray can crap....if its factory or new style catalized urethanes then a lacquer wash should be ok.....if its a cheapo repaint, like maaco or such a lacquer wash wouldn't work. the factory finishes will be fine .....be careful with the resprayed urethanes ...they will soften...lacquer is really "hot" ...it is old style, and illegal to spray comercially.... we only use it for spray gun clean up.....or a "wash".... and some panels have been repaired (refinished) over the years...thus it will seem to wash off fine on some panels then the next is a disaster.....so just do small test areas and be careful......a buff is a must afterwards to remove the bit of residue left by the "wash" and the rogering you just gave it.......this method will work most of the time ........but fair warning ...it could prove to be disasterous.........thats why they pay me the "big buck"....lol  :-\
