I would agree with the vaccuum check to see if your cat is partially clogged from the bad O2. Doesent take much when the sensors go south to do it. Good Luck with the repair!

Quick Question on the torque grind on a EJ18.. I will be towing a small homemade teardrop camper weighing in @ 1000 lbs. Im sure the torque cam will fatten up the bottom end grunt wise but will it drastically affect top end when Im not towing? I dont want to run out of "breath" when Im humming along the NJ Turnpike unladen..And would this show any MPG improvement if I kept my foot out of it? Thanks!

I know when they went to the 10% alcohol here in NJ my fuel economy took a hit (30MPG Average to 26-27 average) maybe its the fuel contributing to most of your MPG woes..
