i got my 97 ob ltd for $2k it's got piston slap:grin:. i'm putting a engine in it and it's still worth more than i have in it. MHO i would not go that high $2k just my $.02

has the piston slap prob been fix on the ccr engines?

thanks for the replys. i have heard good things about ccr. would i be able to do the 2.2 swap with a ccr engine (97 outback)? one more Q. do the ccr engines have any performance over the stock engines ?

i'm looking for a good place to buy a short block for my outback (2.5) nothing fancy just a good rebuilt short block thanks for reading

i will probly go with a 27" tire not much big than stock. thanks for all the reply's i never thought i would get so many reply's on this subject.

is there a way to recalibrate the speedometer for bigger tires?? i have a 97 ob. thanks in advance
