[90 legacy with door lock that sticks]

If you search the internet for "early Legacy locks" you will discover a posting that explains how to fix this. I have same problem on my '90 Legacy sedan but haven't tried it yet. If you can't find it post again & I will try to get website for you.

[Legacy rear susp sags when loaded]

I ordered shock overload springs from Parts America for about $23. I threw the mounting hardware away & put the springs over the rear struts & inside the original springs. They fit nicely & kept my '90 Legacy sedan level while carrying a trunkfull of firewood & towing popup camper.

My '90 Legacy also sags when loaded or popup camper hitched. I can find springs that lower but not for overload. Keep posting possible solutions. I will let you know if I find anything.

[Intermittent Sunroof Operation.]

I have the same symptoms with my '90 Legacy. I can hear a relay clicking in the roof somewhere but no sunroof action. Wile watching the ammeter I see no deflection indicating that the motor isn't getting any power or motor is acting intermittent. Don't wanna pull headliner out cause I think I'll tear it all up. Let me know what you find.

[Timing belt cover removal]

I had same problem on my JL2.2. I pried the outside covers apart with screwdrivers. The cover split at the inserts when the inserts pulled out of the plastic. When I went back together I just used machine screws with washers to hold the covers in place. The gasket around the middle covers were swollen and wouldn't go back in place. I trimmed them for best fit with no problems since.

[big troubles HELP!]

After removing all the bolts in the cover that didn't mess up I wedged a screwdriver in the crack between the covers and pried the insert out of the back cover. Then I used a pliars to hold the insert while unscrewing bolt out of insert. After all is done I used a 1/4-20 through bolt with a nut on the other side. Heck with buying new! I also trimmed the swollen rubber gaskets on timing cover for best fit.

[A/C Compressor Bearing]

How do I replace the clutch bearing in my Calsonic A/C compressor clutch? I don't wanna loose the charge. This is a '90 Legacy JL2.2 automatic 2WD.

[Blower fan relay location?]

Does the blower not work on any speed? It seems I had a problem with mine & there is a device wit a fusible link in the air duct adjacent to the heater blower. I soldered mine back together & oiled the heater blower motor and all has been fine since.

I am sure it is from the casting. I've seen this on lots of aluminiun castings. No worries.
