  1. Forester high beam problem

    Anyone have any ideas about this 2004 Forester high beam problem? When the lever is moved to the temporary high beam position, the highs come on as they should for as long as I hold the lever, but when I try to move the lever to have them stay on, they don't come on [the lows remain on]. I'm guessing the switch needs replacing. Is that a DIY job? Can the switch be repaired instead of replacing it? Thanks

    How do you remove the clock module? I see no screws, or plastic caps covering mounting holes, and cannot tell where [nor how hard] to press on housing sides to release catches/detents. And did your clock "fix" hold for any reasonable length of time, or is this something one has to do every year or so?
