thanks nipper... funnyish. yeah, i have and will check it out, just thought i'd ask here too.

It's almost spring in Vermont and I need a new set of tyres for my 2002 Impreza 2.5RS. I've run through two sets of the stock protenza's (could've gotten a bit more life out of them, if i had rotated more regularly... but one set was free so). i'm prepared to go w/ the protenza's again, but they seem to wear very quickly. Any suggestions on a H or V rated tyre that will peform well, but doesn't need to be race ready and is maybe more affordable than the protenza? I have 149,000 miles on the car so I drive it a lot more gently now than i used to... so affordability/durability is almost more important than performance. thanks!!
