EMERGENCY !!! Help...... I need private party sale prices for a 87 GL-10 4X4 5SPD Turbo Wagon. From anywhere. My insurance Co. only wants to give me $830 for my wrecked an totaled 87 GL-10 4X4 5spd Turbo Wagon, that really sucks. I'm trying to fight this, but I need everyone help here.

Are all EA82T engines the same? Would a turbo off of a 90 fit on a 87?

I need to get ahold of Whippet in Utah. Anyone know his e-mail address or phone number? It is an EMERG. (well to me it is, I think my wife totaled our 87 GL-10 4wd 5spd Turbo Wagon). It was such a great turbo wagon, ran great, an i just put 14"pugs an new tires on her too. Please anybody that can help me out here, let me know.

I have a 87 GL-10 4wd 5spd Turbo Wagon. 1. Heater worked great before winter set in, now it hardly works in the cold weather here at the 8,000 ft. level. 2. Headlights get covered with snow slush so much that I have to stop and wipe them off just so I can see the road. Glass feels cold to the touch when I wipe off the slush. Any ideas to help with these problems?

I am trying to learn what I can about this new computer that we got this weekend. After using Win 98 up till now has it's draw backs now that we have a new computer in the family. OK..... I've got a very small oil leak somewhere on top and in the back part of the engine area. I can see a little puddle of oil on the engine just infront of the spare tire. I've tried cleaning it up and seeing if I could see the oil dripping while the engine is running, but I couldn't see anything. I even had my son get in and rev. up the engine, still nothing. I clean it up and after going on a 2 hr drive its back again. Anyone have any ideas what to check? Or what to replace? I have replaced all of the factory hose springs with clamps and that didn't do it. So I am hoping that someone out there can give me some help here to stop the oil leak. Thanks. Oh, and I need to know where I can get a compete set of hoses for the EA82T ? It's a 87 GL-10 4WD Turbo Wagon.

Well I just got home awhile ago. Long 3 hour drive back from shopping, over 10,000 ft mountain. Deer every where, driving slow at night. But it still happened, 2 doe's and a lil fawn ran out across the road and stopped right in the middle of my lane. So as I was slowing down and moving over into the on coming lane to go past them, those 3 deer decide to go back. Right infront of me. All I could do was slam on the brakes. With my wheels locked and tires sqealing. I am so glad that the wagon has 4 wheel disc brakes. Because I stoped only a few inches away from hitting them all. They just looked at us in the car, blinked there big brown eyes at us and slowly walked off into the forest. If it hadn't been for the 4 wheel disc brakes I am sure I would have totaled the wagon and us in it too. I could just see those 3 deer coming in through the windshield and nailing us in the front seats. As I have said to others I work with here ( SUBARUS RULE ) And I thank GOD we were all ok........

Yes that does look real nice. How has it helped with your engine performance?

I had a 80 GL Brat and it had 2 small round headlights on each side.
