  1. I'm okay with using it as a parts car because I have a Turbo Legacy waiting in the wings (once we get the downpipe and a couple of other misc. parts.) So, I'm not terribly attached to the car. I told the guy that I had a leaky trunk anyhow and was planning to fix it anyway, and he just laughed. :P He wasn't a jerk, so no one should really be talking bad about him. He did try his best to miss me which is why the damage is isolated to the left side of the car only.

We just purchased this 1990 Legacy today! The guy says it's a LSi, but it's badges are taken off, it doesn't have height control, no leather, no electronic climate control, etc. We are pretty sure it's an LS... any comments on that? It's got 262k on it, runs like a champ! It needs an axle and a tune up, oil change, and probably a clutch pretty soon... drives kinda funny. We'll bring it up to WCSS8 for those who want to see :)

  3. I have always been a fan of cars. Never really Subies until I met Andrew (THANKS!!!) The honest to God truth - My brother borrowed Andrew's car from Russell one day, and I fell in love with the car before I even KNEW Andrew. So it was fate! :D Now, we fight to see who can see the Subies first, whoever yells parts usually is the winner. Me, I usually say SUBIE!!!!

Whoever was talking about giving your woman her first car. Andrew did it, and I have driven it like twice... But I won't get rid of it. It's the same year I was born, and it's the best little car around! :D:banana:

  4. And gone are the days when cars had like six wires going to the engine, and only a few problems would make the car not run at all, and the home mechanic can maintain his brand new car with only a small set of tools.. I've never been a huge fan of fuel injection, but it is more efficient than a carburetor (Although I like the original Bosch CIS because it is efficient AND simple..)

Whoops.. Just realized Jessica forgot to log out, so this is Andrew talking lol
