duty soleniod b and vehicle speed sensor 2?

Doesn't the engine cut out to keep the car at a certain speed. I've had this happen with different types of cars. I was told that if the car went above the set speed, the engine would kill? or do something to get the speed down but it would reengage? if it fell below the set speed. That's my theory but I'd take the car in just to be sure.

Where in SoCal can you get engines for that price? Do they have turbo engines with everything needed to do a swap? I, too will be leaving SoCal in a few months but I won't be going too far away.

Just curious of what part of N.O. you are from seeing as you have the same name as I do and I'm from the Westbank. Not there now thought...in sunny California.
