  1. Thanks Ed! That's the one I ended up using. I have it bookmarked on my favorites. T/C
  2. I really like these rims...or I should say, I like the way they look on a Subaru Legacy GT wagon. Do you think these would look too awkward on a Subrau Legacy L sedan? I used the tire conversion calculator and there doesn't seem to be a huge percentage difference in the diameter. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SUBARU-LEGACY-OEM-STOCK-RIMS-W-FALKEN-TIRES_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ66483QQihZ005QQitemZ150133217777QQrdZ1 They're pretty spendy considering they're not in perfect condition. But when you consider they already have an almost new set of tires already mounted and balanced, not too bad. T/C
  3. My 96 Legacy Sedan has 14" rims. I have the opportunity to buy some 15" alloy rims that came of a 1997 Subaru Outback. These should bolt on without any problems, right? Second question, what is a good size tire to go on the 15" rim that won't screw up with the speedometer too much? Thanks. T/C P.S. I used the search function but didn't find the exact response I was needing.
  4. I thought a Legacy Outback was an actual vehicle/trim model...not two separate vehicles. Either way, it looks awesome!! T/C
  5. Just acquired a 1996 Subaru Legacy L Sedan AWD (manual) with 163,000 miles. I paid $2400 for it. I know it might seem kinda high, but it's in super clean shape. The previous owner just had the timing belt and clutch replaced recently. I'm very impressed with the ride...I mean it's nothing fancy, but it still feels sporty with the 5 spd. Anything I should look out for with these cars? It has the 2.2 which I've heard are pretty reliable. My goal is to baby this car and make it last until at least 250,000 miles. Looking forward to learning a bunch from all of you. Take care! T/C P.S. Any other Legacy owners out here in the Inland Northwest??
