  1. Hey guys and gals, I'm new to the forum and new to Subarus. I recently bought a 93' Legacy L with a EJ22 motor, 2 wheel drive, 117,000 miles for a $100 as a work vehicle. I love it, it got 27 MPG the first tank. It does have "some" cosmetic flaws, the girl I bought it from wrecked it. Looks to me like she hit a tree or a pole. Any ways the front frame crossmember is bent back about 4 inches beyond the bumper skin, it was enough to make the evap coil for the AC u shaped. My question is, would I risk certain air bag deployment if I were say to put a tow strap around my bent frame and tie the other end to a big tree, and yank the heck out of it until it is back where it is suppose to be??? Should I disconnect the airbag module before I attempt my backyard body work? Thanks for any input
  2. I recently purchased a 93' Legacy L non 4wheeler. just 2 wheelin, for the amazing price of $100. The previous owner had no tag on it and the city threatened to tow it. So, for a crisp $100 bill I am now the proud owner of my first Subaru. My question is, can I make this car into something Rally worthy. I have always loved offroading. What kind of suspension mods , engine mods are available. I beleive the engine type is an EJ22, all I know is that it is a bone stock,93' Legacy L 4 banger, 2200cc?
