My wife's 04 obw has just had its first code. it is the p0483 cooling fan rationality check. Any advice on what to look for? How about a trick to get the relays out of the clips they are in? (two screwdrivers??) this car only has 52k on it btw. is this a warranty-covered issue? thanks for the attention . Pat

hope I'm not hijacking this thread,but my wife's 04 obw is also giving the p0483 code. Took the car to Autozone for the freee scan. Not sure if the guy cleared the code or not, but the check engine light is still on. Is there a trick to getting the fan relays out? I suppose the best thing to do is check the relays, then the fans. But after that, I will be asking for more help. This car has 52k miles on it and this is the first code. Is this a warranty issue? Not encouraged to hear that this is a growing problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Pat
