  1. that still makes no sense. It cant be part time if it is not selectable. It would be full time 4wd. It would act like a part time that was locked in 4wd mode if thats what you are trying to say. but that still wouldnt be part time because you wouldnt be able to unlock it.

  2. I believe you can change the stubs without cracking the case. I would need to varify this. But back 12 yrs ago when I didnt know much about cars I remember trying to do a cv shaft on a subaru. I didnt realize that there was pins on the axles. I beat both shafts out of the trans without removing the pins the stubs came out with the axles. then I transferred the stubs to the new axles. and put them back in. I remember it ended up working in the end. I would try it again but I havent had a need to change out any stubs. lol

I suppose this would be assuming there wasnt a carrier change involved in the stub swap also?

  3. why not just make a new intake that way you actually could flow the air of a bigger carb. you probably could make a steel intake out of exhaust tubing with a pipe bender and some flanges real easy. I thought about doing that once. and then mounting a holley 650 to it.ha ha. but I realized like everyone else. there is no point because the heads wont flow enough anyway. but you probably could get at least more flow than the stock one.

  4. yeah you should not use a vent to atmosphere bov on a vehicle that has a MAF sensor. It will cause driveability issues because the MAF sensor measured that air already that you are venting. lol

If you use a standalone like I did on my TT. you can make it run without the MAF and just use the MAP sensor. It wont effect it then. I actually am in the process of modding a WRX intercooler on to mine. I welded all the doors open on the switching devices and deleted the BBOD. I will then use one BOV on the wrx intercooler and put a external wastegate on the front crossover pipe. Then it will tune like it has one really big turbo. ha ha.

  5. yeah actually in the original owners manual it tells you to do it to gain extra clearance when going off road. ha ha. It tells you to put it back when you go on the road. I believe the tool kit that comes with it even has a wrench for it. lol well at least my 82 brat did ha ha
