6 lug hubs for sale or redrill yours!
Do you still have hubs available? I had the 6 lug done a few years ago and the fronts were not drilled very well. I had to weld my studs in. If you have any, how much for just the front set, no studs and unpainted shipped to 32404? Thank you

EJ-22 swap, Project Loyale
Right on. I've been thinking of running an oil cooler myself. I ordered a sandwich but I haven't found all of the adapters yet. I did find this, http://store.42draftdesigns.com/VW-Oil-Pressure-Relocation-Kit_p_314.html it might be of some help in your application. Good luck. Post some pics when you finish. I would defiantly like to see how you install a cooler.

EJ-22 swap, Project Loyale
I know it's an old topic but I did an ej22 swap in a brat a few years ago and never did get the original oil pressure gauge to work. I've heard the ea81 and ea82 senders are the same. How did the oil filter sandwich work out for you? Do you have any pics with the oil pressure sender installed?

Nice work. Hopefully your neighbors don't mind. I know I got a few dirty looks.

What about rear drive shaft length? It will need to be shortened I think.

That is my next swap. I have a donor car with a 5 speed but it is the push button 4 wheel drive not the dual range. I wanted to get the engine in and moving and drive it until the 4speed took a dump then swap it out. Perhaps I should just swap it all at once.

I still have it but I had the ea82 flywheel drilled to fit the ej engine. Would an ea82 TO bearing work? Just a thought.

Checking the cable was the first step. I took it off from the fork. When I peeked down into the fork hole I can see it is being pushed slightly away from it's pivot point. I was told to use the ea82 flywheel but nobody said anything about having it milled down. I will pull it out and have it done up. Thanks

Everything went together just fine. The starter works perfectly. I used the entire Nissan TO bearing assembly. Was I suppose to use the Nissan bearing in the Brat TO bearing housing?

ej swap in brat wont move
Well the directions call for the Nissan one. Surprising this is the only part that has not gone smoothly. I've done lots of V8 swaps in Ford bronco IIs and Chevy s-10's even a few fuel injected and big block swaps into little trucks and nothing has been as easy as the Subaru swap. If anyone has done this and has any input it is greatly appreciated. Thanks again for the help so far.

It's a brand new flywheel. I disconnected the clutch cable and took a peek inside. The throw out bearing seems to be too long. It is pushing on the pressure plate. Anybody have any ideas?

OK, I've got the engine installed and it started today. Thanks to everybody for the input and write ups. While it was running I thought I would pull it forward just a bit. I put it into gear and let out the clutch, nothing happened. I'm using the stock 4 speed from the 86 brat. I have an ea82 flywheel and pressure plate with the ea81 clutch plate. I used the Nissan throw out bearing. Everything went together like it should. Before I rip it apart does anybody have any idea what might be the problem?

I didn't see a mount on your adapter plate for the pitch stopper. The adapter plate I got will let me use the Brat's pitch stopper. I have an extra one from a 95 legacy automatic. Not sure if it will work. Let me know if you are interested. I can send some pics with measurements.
