  1. what is the accel thing your talking about for 40$?
  2. yea we tried starting it with some B-12 chem tool, i think it was called. still nothing though, and i had the coolant temp sensor changed over the christmas break....
  3. Its an SPFI, the rotar turns fine, its not the timing. we'll have to check the fuel pump out better still. what about that spark plug thread though, is there any way to fix the threading. the plug isn't going in all the way. also we think the fuel filter may be clogged, is that a big task to replace? thanks, CHASE
  4. ok subie experts, i did a spark plug and wire change, also changed the cap and rotar. I is still not firing up... not that it matters, but one of the spark plugs isn't going in all the way because the thread is all messed up. but we got it in as far as possible and connected the wire(didn't know if that matters or not or what i should do about that, i believe the previous plug also wasn't in all the way either, do i need to re-thread the hole somehow or any other suggestions), but at any rate the engine still isn't firing up. I'm thinking now maybe something with the fuel injection system. Also can water or moisture get in somewhere and prevent starting, because i live in eugene where rain is an everyday ordeal so there is a lot of moisture in there. anyway people, i'm needing a car! hope you can help thanks so very much, chase
  5. hello, i'm new and my buddy highly recommended using this site for help. I have a 91 loyale that is having trouble firing up. It turns fine though, just doesn't like to fire up. originally i thought it was just because of the cold and wet weather, but its warmer now and isn't starting at all. I was thinking it could maybe be the spark plugs and wires? anyhow, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and helpful. thanks chase
