  1. Oil capacity of '07 H6 engine

    Chuck Mahnke posted a topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVX
    I changed oil for the first time on my '07 H6 Outback and found that I needed 6.5 quarts of oil to get to the full level on the dipstick. The manual says that the capacity is 5.8 quarts. My '02 H6 Outback always took 6 quarts to reach the full level. Does this sound reasonable or normal?
