  2. Its internal.it won't shift into 2,4,or reverse. Started with no reverse then 2 and 4 followed.
  3. So put an xt6 trans in after 5k lost 2-4-r any ideas oil looks good and not the linkage. Thanks for any input
  4. what years will bolt up? found a 97 trans. by the way its a 5 spd thanks for any help
  5. Probably oil sensor ( idiot light)they go bad, behind alt.

  10. motor blew up, lost headgasket.i dont know why but very bummed ran great for 2 weeks out of nowhere poof.something odd was the head bolts on the top center both sides are either stripped or broke.anyway very bad and my dd now i have to scramble and just get a 2.2 in it asap:mad: so much work and time

  12. it had fuel coming out though, so i capped it. ive heard vw guys cap it.my lifted rig did this also i have a canister but it filled and leaked also not sure but would like to get it right

  14. yes i took the idiot sensor out made a hydraulic hose and adapted the ea sensor so my gauge will work.its simple and cheap to do, i think the hose cost 12 bucks.
