My tailgate is dented up a bit it could be repaired... my rear bumper those two little tit like bumpers that stick out of the bumper rusted off ,,well one came off so i pulled the other off i saved them but cant find them now... this brat is totally original 60,000 miles white with blue interior.. hanks Victor in rhode island

ive been reading searching old posts i am hoping the O ring water pump thing. Ive noticed losing coolant and saw steam today .. oil looks good exhaust looks good car runs and sounds great... This brat is nice only 60,000 on it... i was told i need a oil pan gasket so it looks like stuff is starting to go... I think i should have this thing up dated.. Like new hoses, belts, radiator flush what are the etc..... What should i have done while im having a bunch of stuff done ..timing belt????? water pump if not just the O -ring You guys got a list of things i should have replaced or looked at i dont want to start replacing some little thing every month now... This brat is great i want to keep it that way... Thank you I guess i will look for a subaru dealership thats been around and has a mechanic thats been working there for 25 years...

I am a recent cancer survivor . so im not set up right now with time energy and tools... to do it myself.. EGR light came on it ddidnt seem to be driving any different , i dont drive it much 100 miles a week maybe... then ECS light came on last week .. I was also told at oil change i have a leaky oil pan gasket and need a new air cleaner i just got them from pepboys .. But i might as well have everything fixed and checked out .. Am i better off finding a subaru mechanic or what if anyone knows a place in the Rhode Island . Southern Massachucetts, Eastern Conn. area i could take it to would be great.. Or should i find a subaru dealer would they even know about an old brat... Thanks Its a 1985 brat with only 60,000 i got it with 52,000 on it.. Its been great so far .. Thanks

Thanks guys i want a high bar but that one looks about 2 or 3 inchs too tall to fit under my topper ..wanna be able to use both but i almost never use my topper in the summer and just put it on and take it off once a year so maybe i will just get the ready made one .. I will call about a custom size. And i want them in red. I saw a picture of a white in the subaru headquarters or some wear of a white with red trim had a cool looking spoiler for above the cab also.. Gotta go look for that picture... Thanks guys

Ive got a 1985 brat if i cant find any to buy .. then i will have to find a place to build and paint me up a nice red roll bar and A bar so pictures would help me i can figure our measurements i will need ... My topper raises up so i can have one a few tinces taller than my cab.

t top flew off today was demonstating t tops last night jumped in took off today it wasnt latched up . Luckey nobody right behind me it was on the highway. Its my daily driver so i need one fast. Its for blue interior 1985 brat I dont care if the latch color doesnt match it would be nice thou.

id like to get original or better replacement ones for my brat its coming with just lap belts that he said werent original. does anyone have a pic of what the originals are like? Are they just lap belts ? I probibly want a nice harness looking set up anyway. Anyone got suggestions for getting some nice ones for the jump seats. How about padding for them?

Doubt i will find ones for sale so i guess i have to find a welding shop to make them. I have the high top topper . Anyone had ones made before? what are your guesses at what they will cost?
