  5. thanks for comments guys, got te arches of ebay uk, listed under 80's style aftermarket arches, they suit it perfectly, its going to get a full respray shortly, and a mapping session, was thinking the cooler is a bit over the top, was thinking smaller cooler and replace bumper would look more subtle, the suspension was a nightmare , nothing fitted at all but was determined to get it built , im pleased how its turned out , and it gets some weird looks, people just dont know what it is, think im going to v8 one of my other pickups next ,
  6. group picture of my growing scooby collection

  9. not been on for ages guys but brat is pretty much finished , took 3 months solid work building it , has full wrx running gear engine ,box power steering brakes etc and it goes like a rocket lol, got apexi ecu , td05 turbo 2.5 inch straight through exhaust , oz racing alloys 18 inch, 3 inch arch extensions and a terrible matt back paint job but hey ho will sort it out when i take it of the road in winter anyway some build pictures the start dent removal front wrx subframe and struts fitted

  11. not posted in ages, well i now have 7 brats in my collection , 4 of them on the road , and one with an ej20 turbo lump , going to do the ej20 impreza running gear swap next week , looks like a major job some pictures the idea for this brat is a 1/4 mile car so much work to do still, ej running gear and power steering is going to be alot of work
  12. can see now ej is way to go, so fiting the turbo version would be as easy as the non turbo? and where can you get the adapted plates for the gearbox or is it just as easy fiting the ej gearbox and getting a prop manufactured up? thanks for help guys really appreciate it
  13. a right , mmm bad idea then, take it the ej22 is the impreza engine , is it a big job putting one in a brat? or has it been done without much trouble, cutting and welding isnt a problem for me , just setting out the geometry of it is a bit worrying
