  1. In January, I lost oil pressure in my 93 Loyale. I drove it to the gas station and to the shop and back. I figure I went about 10-12 miles with no pressure, bu the engine didn't seize, and it still had some power, although not all. I am wondering if I should try to get a new oil pump or if I should try to get a new engine for the car. Or the worst option, sell it. Can anybody help me? Thanks

  2. I started the car up one morning and the oil pressure indicator light came on. It normally does this, but usually it goes off once the engine is warm. This time it didn't. I made it to the gas station and then to the shop and home from the shop after they looked at it and told me of the grim situation.

  3. I have a 93 Loyale 2wd, auto. Anyway, in January the oil pump went out on me. I was wondering how much engine damage could have occured in the 10 or so miles that I drove it to and from the garage. Is it worth replacing the oil pump, or the engine or the entire car? Thanks
