I have never changed rotors or pads, I feel iffy about doing this myself, do you think it would be better for me to take it to a mechanic considering this is huge, not something I want to do wrong?

Hey guys, I am about to replace front/rear rotors and pads on my 87 Rx. I was wondering if there is any tips I need to know, any info would be great I'm a noob when it comes to rotors and pads.

Alright thx a bunch, that would help a lot I'm stuck right now trying to figure out if my battery is bad now cause apparently I have been running off just my batter, or if my alt is bad or if its the fuses, I do plan on converting the fuses to newer style ones. pics would be great.

Thx a bunch that was easier than I thought. New problem though, I guess when I put my alternator in I didn't connect it :-\. I plugged it in and now I have no power at all. We tried to push start it, and even jump start it, both didn't work. I have been searching the forums for post about the same problem but nothing specific about my problem. I am guessing its a main fuse but when I bought the car I don't have the owners manual, have also checked the forums for that and nothing. I also just put a new battery in so pretty sure its not that.

Alright so I pulled on the hood cable to open my hood up and it broke, it broke somewhere under the hood, does anyone have an idea of how to get it open without causing any damage to my car?

Hello everyone , I just bought a 87 Rx and just finished putting in a new ea82-t in it, I'm new to the Subaru world, and new to the car world, big time noob!. Anyways I was wondering what I could do to increase my hp that wont effect my engine to much and any other info would help, I am also looking for some rx parts if anyone here has spare parts. Its just a daily driver so I'm not looking to do to much with it other than have fun. Also I need some specs to buy new rims and tires, any and all advise would be great . Thx.
