    Thanks for your replies. The pulley looks to be in great shape with the key (on the crank) a little bunged up, but not too bad.

    G'day from New Zealand, Last week, the drive pulley for our 1997 Subaru Legacy 250T worked it's way loose. (Thankfully as we were right around the corner.) Can you guys tell me if I can simply put Locktite on it and tighten to its specified torque... or is there more involved? Can you tell me what torque it needs to be tightened to? Cheers, Mark
