Yes pump runs fine I have fresh gas at the throttlebody just none going in?

Hello to all Have a 1988 DL wagon 5 speed. How do i troubleshoot the trottlebody.This car has sat 3-4 years.I have clean gas to throttlebody will start runs 5 seconds and dies. I can pour gas into the throttlebody and it will run for say 30 seconds they want $60 for the injecter and $85 for the pressure reg how can I tell what I need.I know nothing about these cars just helping out a neighbor lady that delt with guys that took her money and tore the car apart.I really like this little car.
