Appreciate the safety note - Really, I do... My concerns are that the bags will go off while playing around off-road when not necessary. But then again, if something bumps the car hard enough to make them go off (even if its off road) its probably going to be a good thing to have them. ... and yes - seatbelts are always used. Once things get too rad, might even consider a helmet ! Thanks again

I've got a 2003 Baja that's been taken "off-road" and few times and bounced around a good bit... FUN! My concern is - How much bouncing around will it take to activate the AirBags? Is it possible to install a switch and dissable the airbag system when I want to play off-road? If so, anyone know which wires to use (put a switch on)? Thanks

Hello, I've got an 03 Baja (took delivery Oct 03) and have nearly 53K miles arlready! Mostly highway driving and getting 26+ MPG... One of the biggest issues I have with this vehicle is lack of power. Too many miles to trade-in on a turbo model, so I'm looking for some aftermarket mods. Does anyone know of some "improvements" that can be made and who makes them? Improvements such as: 1) Cold Air Intakes 2) "chip" / "program" modifications 3) Lift kits and off-road packages Cheers,
