    Yup it's a 2.5. It's costing me 800.00 in labor. I'm a manager at Advance auto so I get great prices on parts. I can't seem to find any performance advise on the 2.5's. i don't want a race car but a little extra would be nice. i'm geussing exaust upgade but i'm going to have to do some custom work. I can't find any kits for a Legacy.

    I have bad hg's too. My guy is fixing as we speak. 800.00. + 200.00 for hg set and timing belt. I got a new WP & tensioner too. The bottum end is strong so i can't see risking a swap to a bottum end i know nothing about. Mine is rust free from PA. it's definitly worth putting cash into.

    What's up? I'm Joe. I just picked up my first subaru! 98 Quik silver legacy GT. I just converted to the jdm headlights and fog lights. Installing new head gaskets now. What can I do to increase my hp a little. Thanks!!
