  1. We had several of these rigs way back hen. I collected/ saved a lot of parts to keep them running, about a 1/2 shed full-- have sold some, still have lots left--a few engine parts ( one complete 1400 core),  manifolds/carbs/dostributors/ side windows/side doors/ rear hatch/ suspension and drive line parts ( no trans) , instrument clusters, a few lights and lenses left,  air cleaners,  front and rear seatsetc. Too much to list.  Some parts may also fit Brat. One part at reasonable market price, or sell the whole lot to a gen 1 enthusiast for a lump sum . Time for these parts to find a new home. Located in SE Idaho.  Charlie  idpv@ida.net

  2. Think spring! My enforced staycation has created a big shop clean-up opportunity. We had  one '76 and 2 '78 Subie 4WD wagons back when, and a I have a half shed of salvaged useable parts for which I have no project car.  I mostly saved mechanical parts, but also have doors, some glass, seats,  1400 engine core, a few remaining 1600 engine parts, clusters, driveline parts, etc. etc. Tell me what you need, i'll see if I have it. Individual parts at market price,  I'd consider selling the whole lot reasonably, but you need to take it all.  Located in southeast Idaho.  Charlie idpv@ida.net

  3. Time to do spring cleaning, I no longer have any early Subies but I still have a lot of parts from several 78's that the kids finished off.

About 1/2 shed full. I'll sell  single parts at fair market value, or sell the whole bunch for $250, you will need a full size P/U.

Core engine parts, differentials, side glass, doors, hatches, axles, some suspension parts, instrument clusters, starters & alternators,

manifolds loaded with all sorts of devices, etc etc. Contact me with your needs and i'll take a look. Charlie in Idaho

  4. Way back when, we had several 1976-1980 early Subie 4WD wagons, two bit the dust and were parted out to fix the survivors.

I still have a fairly significant collection of used parts in the shed, all for sale- individual items at market price; I'd also give someone who purchased and removed ALL the parts a good deal, to free up storage space. Mostly mechanical parts; manifolds, carbs, starters, alternators, some cables, shafts, suspension parts, radiators, heaters, plus doors and rear hatches, right front fender, good back seats, some side glass, etc. Engine cores, including a complete 1400 from 1976. Located in SE Idaho. Currently also on craigslist locally. Charlie       idpv@ida.net

$250 for ALL the Subie parts if you pick them up and haul them.

or  By the each,  I would hope for fair prices.

  7. to Petey:

Got 2 sets of doors, with interior panels, door opening handle tirm, plus the little plastic pull handles

Front Doors also have lock cylinders, and the matching rear hatches have lock cylinders. Got two ignition switches+ locking mechanism + ignition lock & key- one has been asked for and I've accepted an offer of $40 for it,but have not yet gotten the cash. I have only one key for each set of locks, so if you want to split up a set, I'll need to charge for an extra key ($6, locally) . It will take a good bit of work to salvage the lock cylinders from the doors, as they must be mostly disassembled! Be generous.

Got two small bumper end caps loose, probably front, two larger one on the sole remaining square bumper-they are a little tweaked from sitting in the parts pile but will probably spring back in to shape.

Got 1 rear mudflap, two fronts

Got 2 pairs of side marker lights, different from each other- 2 red, 2 yellow.

I have pics of the parts, e-mail me at my e-mail idpv@ida.net and I can send pics.

  8. Just found a big box of subie light fixtures in the shed- Thought i'd offer it here first, before e-bay.

2 sets of upper rear taillights

2 good lower,+ one rough one

couple of front corner lights, so-so

2 pair of side marker lights, 2 different styles

Ask for a picture of what you want at idpv@ida.net and i'll try to figure out left from right, etc.

    Offers are good too!

  9. do you have intact door lock bezels?

also i need a plastic covers for the hanbrake ans shifter do you have those?

I believe the chrome lock bezels are pressed on to the lock cylinder and are not readily removeable--or reuseable-- at least they are that way on other door locks for other cars I've had. That said, I have 2 sets of front doors with locks. I have one set of keys, so I may even have a key. Otherwise, you would need to see a locksmith and have a key made. Many lock cylinders have a number on them, so then it's real easy. Retrieving thelock cylinders will require disassembling the doors somewhat. What's you offer?

  10. I'm looking for some lenses for my 79 wagon. Rear passenger backup light and front passenger blinker. would they fit a 79?

I have 2 left? rear and one right? rear tail light fixtures, plus one smaller one

which may go below the tail light. I may have one front corner fixture

    Charlie idpv@ida.net.

I think '77 to '79 were the same body style.

  11. To all you who have answered this thread, I can't reply unless you give me your e-mail! I probably do have lock bezels on good doors; also two tailgate lifts, also several carbs!

    Email me at idpv@ida.net

Look on ebay for 1978 Subie parts, I've sold some parts at fair prices, but I have some real low-ball offers, so i'll put those parts up on Ebay and see what happens!
