How about we all get our needs/wants listed in a manner that's easy to print and take with us during our parts hunting? Suggestion- BE SURE TO MENTION THE YEAR MODEL,COLORS,ENGINE (if your car was made in a multi engine year,i.e.:1976 1400 and 1600cc....) There's been a decent increase in vintage Subaru ownership lately. To date we've all treated each other very well, overall.Let's hope the lists don't cause any arguments when items double over onto your friend's list. Right now there's at least 3 people who'd risk jail time to get a mint condition blue dash for a '78-9 4WD wagon or Brat. Please, please, please consider not buying items you already have in cases…

Please do not post in this forum unless the parts or vehicle being bought or sold is "historic" in nature. Mostly 50's-70's parts, vehicles, and accessories are to be listed here.

Edit today - February 7, 2026 Norwich CT is where you’ll need to bring a trailer or flatbed. Items you’ll get or have offered to you: Hull of car - 1978 4WD wagon with loose doors, hood, cowl. No engine and no transmission. No front wheels - may or may not have front suspension/wheel hub. Has rear wheels. Those might be steel wheels or the flat spoke wagon wheels. Fuel tank will be included and is the same tank for a Brat. Unsure of the prop shaft, might keep that. Rear end will stay with axles and differential so the rear of the car can roll. Ceiling liner is really nice, doors mostly have all their interior bits and all have glass. R…

Not just a threat this is my reality. After over 40 years of Subaru fun I now have the two cars I want as I retire. So I’ll be selling nearly all of my extra parts. Some New Old Stock is still with me. I’ll post what NOS I have as I pull items out. And plenty of good used stock too. Some items already listed with the FB vintage Subaru parts group and may be listing elsewhere. For now I’d like to avoid eBay. But in a month, maybe more maybe less I’ll try to list a few items. I’m not happy with them since I stopped selling several years back. If you’re kind of new here and don’t know me just look up my history here. I had my…

edit / please delete or ignore this post thanks I posted this on the dreaded face boob in the appropriate Subaru groups. Here it’s not likely to get much attention but here goes. As a whole car this one isn’t a healthy base to create a running car from. It’s a parts car and has badly rotted through spots in various locations. Already missing the rear hatch and it’s pretty trashed inside. Naugatuck Connecticut is where the car sits. No engine. No rear hatch. Items like door glass etc I already have so you can score those very very cheap. If you have me take them out and ship just throw $15 my way for the effort of r…

Hello everyone! After a long drive I smelled fuel and found the tube close to the exhaust pipe wet with fuel. Freaked me out as fuel is scary, the hose looks very… specific.. but also could be some type of coolant style. It looks like a radiator hose and looks to go from the bottom of the metal filler neck and travel to the tank. Anyone know if I can get a fuel rated coolant hose that will work for this or is there a better solution? See my glorious photo. And thank you

I have 2 engines and 4 speed 4WD transaxles available if anyone can use them. The one set I pulled out of a 1979 wagon and the other was a spare that came with the car when I bought it 10 years ago. The one I pulled out was running but was tires. The other engine I have no idea about. I am planning on scrapping these but figured I'd ask around if anyone wants these first. I haven't been able to locate rebuild parts for these so I really can't use them. If you can use these for something I'm just really looking to unload them. All I'd want for them is just basically scrap price. Just come and pick them up. They are located in Spring Grove, PA 17362. I also ha…

Big edit. My trip was very cool and I’ve returned with my two cars. But I left the ff1 wagon there and as of right now there is no other person willing to take this car on. The car was used as a truck its last year of its running life. No back seat. It’s a bit rough along the rocker panels (sills) but is mostly all there. Could be a fun runner but might take a lot of effort for restore. Engine is there and likely would run with fresh gas and an oil change. Owner is a great guy and would like to see this and a few other cars of various makes gone and moved onto people who can appreciate them. Let me know if you’re interes…

Anybody know where I can find a windshield for a 1978-81 brat windshield? I need 2. Local guys can't find them and I don't see any on google. Maybe a part number for a vehicle that has the same windshield? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

I have a new, in the package with all the paperwork. Kamei air dam for a 77+ gen1 stage 2 subaru. Asking $500. Located in Tacoma Washington. Will ship on buyers dime but prefer a local sale. Fits 1978-1981 Subaru Brat (first generation), also wagons/sedans 1978-1979, 2WD/4WD, DL/GL. They will NOT fit coupes GF and FE, but may fit earlier wagons/sedans?... correct me if I'm wrong. I have a few good used, old-stock OEM windshields available that have been sitting in a warehouse since the mid-to-early-eighties from cars that were only a couple/few years old at the time. Not much if any blasting, some have wiper marks (buff-able), one has a tiny bullseye down low, but all are in pretty good shape considering. If you purchase in person (preferred), you can take your pick from the stash: $175 each. I have one brand new windshield, very rare. Perfect condition…
