I have a 79 Brat. 70% restored. The torsion bars are weak. The clearance from the rubber cones to the stops are only 1/2 inch. I have the double tortion bar styled rear end. On the bars twords the very end of the bars next to the tires are a single bolt adjustment. My Chilton's manual doesn't go into detail on this height adjustment for this. Has anyone have experience with 77-79 subaru rear end height adjustments? all inquiries welcome. Rick, Selah wa.
