got a master cylinder today. installing tmrw.

ugh.......that will work for a while.
Then the first hot day you'll overheat cause now your radiator is full of "sealant"
Funny how people ask for advice on a forum and then don't listen to answers
actually i flushed it after it sealed. and it got 95+ the next week and i had no problems witth it.

like when i crank the car then press the brakes the pedal goes to the floor, but when the car is not cranked they have good pressure. brake booster?

update from forever ago haha. i bought some "headgasket sealent" and ran it through my coolant system, and it sealed my coolant leak!

so i replaced calipers, pads, rotors and new drums and shoes on my loyale. i bled all the brakes and they pump up great BUT, when i crank it and press the brake for the first time they go all the way to the floor. im thinking this is a master cylinder, any input is greatly appreciated.

I noticed I had a coolant leak the other day and decided to investigate. Its leaking aroung the exhaust manifold port.???? I have pictures to prove it. My car is a 1992 lotale with the infamous ea82 lol. Any help us appreciated this my only means of transportation as my civic is waiting for its rebuilt turbo. Thanks. John.

awesome thanks GD. so. i took the loyale in the 12 inches of sno we had and i absolutely LOVE IT! it was so fun and did wayy better than ki expected. its so fun

ok my noobness is showing haha.

so this being my first subaru im a bit of a noob. haha actually a complete noob. so my questions are..
1. when is it safe to engage AWD mine has a push button on the shift knob. ( like when its in neutral, gear or what?)
2. how many miles can you drive it without disengaging AWD? my daily commute is 25 miles, one way. the roads can be slick so can i drive it the whole way with AWD engaged?
3.ok.. dad insist that if the tires in the front and rear arent exactly the same size when using 4x4 it will tear up the transmission and axles how true is this?

so after getting the master cylinder replaced, the rear wheel cylinders were bad so i replaced them and one was bad out of the box.
