  1. Thanks for the info, I figured that it would need to be reset once I installed the sensor. I don't have a diagnostic device to do that, so I'm guessing I'll have to take it to the mechanic. Do you have extra TPS's? Or extra throttle bodies?
  2. Hello, I recently got a 2001 Forester but soon after I got it the check engine light came on. I had it checked and it was reading as a throttle position sensor error. I had noticed a lack in responsiveness from the throttle over the past two weeks and then today, I couldn't get it above 40mph. It was pretty cold out - 37degrees - so I'm thinking that had an effect on the TPS malfunctioning. Can I simply replace the TPS? or do I need to do anything else or get anything else for this problem? Any and all help would be great!
