Thanks, I will need to change the ECM once I put in the Turbo. However the key is the gearbox, which will increase the BHP of the engine considerably. Current Auto seems to give way sometimes. I agree that its a good idea to change to turbo pistons. Utlimately the plan is to take it on a off road rally in Malaysia.

Hi All, I have changed the engine of my Subaru 1.6TS to a legacy 2.5 (NA). I have retained the old auto gearbox. Also added the ECU and throtle body along with a bigger exhaust. The power is really good and the pickup has increased considerably. I need to know the following: Can I put in a 6-speed manual gear box (STI) to this engine? Which Turbo should I go in for? How can I increase the top-end of the vehicle?
