  1. Haven't owned my Subaru long enough to tell, but my old truck would start in -40° without being plugged in. Not a good idea, mind you, but it worked... If anything the Subaru should be a lot easier to start as it has half the cylinders to crank. Definitely let it warm up a bit before you drive though.
  2. Built a turnbuckle clamp as a project in school... never used it Modified a screwdriver to work on those stupid security screws with two holes, propane kit in my truck had 'em to prevent tampering... countless wrenches and sockets ground or filed down to fit in tight places...
  3. Hey, just became a proud Subaru owner (1999 Impreza), already in love with the car, figured I'd sign up here because it seems like a good resource. I don't plan to do anything crazy with the car as I already have a "fun car" but definitely some basic stuff. I'm from Alberta, Canada, and definitely get enough snow here for this car to really shine.
