I have a 1995 Subaru Legacy Automatic - AWD L Sedan, that I am getting a shudder vibration coming from the right side rear wheel. I am in the process of getting estimates of what it might be, the first place is saying it's the clutch in the transmission based on having debris and brass shavings in the auto-tran pan when removed and are quoting 2000-2800 depending on parts needed to replace the clutch in the transmission. The shudder only happens when the car is first moving forward, then the shudder disappears, and it does not happen in reverse. It is not consistently happening all of the time, and can go for a day or two without making any noise. It is more apparent on turning right as well. Any thoughts .....
