  1. I know here in Oregon it is illegal to use a booster seat with a lap belt. You might call your local police dept. and ask if Wa. has similar laws in effect.
  2. Ok rick so how much would you want in compensation? At least a 12 pack of rolling rock..lol let me know and when would be a good day to do it. THANKS!!!!
  3. So rick what extactly do I do to change this bearing? I'm still new to working on my subie. And just to let you know that once I changed the o2 sensor it was like I put a new tranny in her. Now I just gotta get the noise gone and bleed the brakes right. :-\
  4. Well my old Subie is still rolling along, but I am hearing a truly ungodly noise coming from the left front wheel. I just did the brakes thinking that was the problem, but it wasn't. When I had the wheel off the car I did grab the hub and tried shaking it around and it wouldn't move at all( the e-brake was off too). Any way I am wondering if it is wheel bearing or a cv joint or the axle needing replaced. Any Ideas? by the way my Subie's a '87 GL wagon fwd automatic w/1.8L tbi. I also replaced the plugs, wires, cap & rotor, O2 sensor, flushed the tranny, and gave her a fresh oil change. And wow she is like a new car. LOTS of pep again. but now I need to figure out what the god awful sound up front is.
  5. Will 8 lug 16.5 dodge 3/4 ton truck rims fit my 87 gl?
  6. I honestly do not know if its a 4eat or a 3at I know that its probably ready to go out but I'm trying to make it stretch out just long enough till I can get up to see you Rick... It does work great if I manually shift it from first to second and then to drive....Fluid was changed twice in the last six months just to try and work some fresh fluid into it...
  7. My 87 ea82 runs great but when you shift it to drive and step on the gas it takes a bit before it shifts into gear and starts to go. Any ideas?
  8. Thanks I just had the timing belts replaced at the dealer but i do need to do a basic tuneup...Heres hopin that will fix the problem...
  9. I have a '87 GL fwd wagon with the Ea82 spfi and I was wondering what would cause it to run real smooth but be very sluggish between 10 and 25 mph? I mean you can put your foot to the floor but she feels like your not giving it anything....
  10. Thanks again Rick I just saw some on CL and it made me wonder
