Well, I went to Milton, Florida today and purchased my 6th Subaru. It's a 1974 Sedan. The badging says GL. The previous owner hated the green and so gave it a crappy paint in gray. I'm hoping to be able to paint it white. Maybe get the badges redone and do something about those hideous bumpers. Also, anyone know where I can source some front seat belts? I seem to only have the buckles. Here are some of the issues I've got with this car, in no particular order. -floor pan is rusted where the seats bolt up. -turn on the headlights and I don't have a single interior light. -have no idea how to do high beam. -paint is nasty -i'll be needing some weatherstripping PRONTO!!! -seats need recovering -needs new carpet -carb needs overhaul, accelerator pump leaking -no brakes!! E-brake works awesome however -have no idea what hardware i need to re-assemble wiper cowl, front grille, and headlight surrounds -tires are dry-rotted.....but looking to buy some other 14" wheels from fellow member:-) Pics soon to come. Hell you got more information than I did!!! Didn't know it was green. That's ok though. I figured I'd paint it white if given the chance. What other colors was this offered in? If white, then where could I get a paint code to match? As I said earlier, I'm bringing the trailer. More than likely it's coming home with me. Jose

I really appreciate it. This is why I love Subaru's....the owners are like family always willing to lend a hand. I'm going to look at it tomorrow....can't wait.

I'm really wanting to know if there are provisions on this car to make it AWD. If so, then I'll go and get the needed items and do the conversion. Jose

Hello all, I have owned two '99 Rs Impreza coupes, and two '02 Impreza WRX, and one '94 L model 4dr. I'm looking into purchasing this particular model. I'm wanting to know more about it. Take a look: http://pensacola.craigslist.org/cto/1581182899.html He says it's been sitting for about 15-20 yrs and still has the OEM hubcaps!!! There is a new carb kit and water pump included in the sale. I'm going to look at the car on Saturday and I'm bringing the trailer. Hopefully, I'll be bringing it home. What do you all think?
