  1. Well, I havent done anything to it yet, but I just purchased my first soob yesterday. Its a 88 XT. First, gotta hit up the yard and replace the air suspension with that of a loyale. then its off to have a cheap coat of paint to prevent any rust. Will post pics of car as is and after each step. Thanks for all the help from you guys yesterday. Im excited to be in the would of soobs.
  2. Thanks for all of the info fellas! I actually dont even own the car yet, but just got back from the junkyard. I ended up with 4wd struts and springs all the way around. I also did get the rear springs from a 2wd. it looks like the 4wd rear springs are gonna lift it 3-4 inches. Its going to be a BEAST!
  3. So ANY ea82 powered suby will do?its all just bolt-on? Is there anyone else with any input? No offense spencer, I am new to the world of subys and absolutely love this car. I just want to make sure that it will all work if I go to a junkyard and purchase these parts.
  4. Is there a fairly wasy and inexpensive way to replace the factory air suspension with traditional gas shocks? I have a 1988 XT-GL coupe. I believe that it can be done, but I am having no luck finding much information on exactly what need to be done. Help PLEASE!
