Well, I havent done anything to it yet, but I just purchased my first soob yesterday. Its a 88 XT. First, gotta hit up the yard and replace the air suspension with that of a loyale. then its off to have a cheap coat of paint to prevent any rust. Will post pics of car as is and after each step. Thanks for all of the info fellas! I actually dont even own the car yet, but just got back from the junkyard. I ended up with 4wd struts and springs all the way around. I also did get the rear springs from a 2wd. it looks like the 4wd rear springs are gonna lift it 3-4 inches. Its going to be a BEAST!

So ANY ea82 powered suby will do?its all just bolt-on? Is there anyone else with any input? No offense spencer, I am new to the world of subys and absolutely love this car. I just want to make sure that it will all work if I go to a junkyard and purchase these parts.

Is there a fairly wasy and inexpensive way to replace the factory air suspension with traditional gas shocks? I have a 1988 XT-GL coupe. I believe that it can be done, but I am having no luck finding much information on exactly what need to be done. Help PLEASE!
