I just picked up a awesome 83 Brat. Its a ea81 4 speed with 4l and 4h. What does gen 1 and gen 2 mean? Do I have a gen 1 or gen 2 and whats the differance? I have no owners manual. Thanks

Hi there, I was told that SJRLIFT has any kit I need to do a lift on my Brat. I am looking to only raise it 2". I contacted SJRLift and unfortunatly their nlift kits start at 3". Does anyone know where I can get a 2" kit or directions to do this? Thanks tons! Chris

Hi there, I am looking to raise a Brat but don't care to get into any body work mas far as cutting the wheelwells. As I look through all the pics of raised Brats I see some that look pretty descent without cutting the wheelwells. Does anyone know what size tire and lift combo would go well together in a 2" of #' lift. I would love to see some pics also. Also...As I go through some pics I think There might be some Brat owners slightly raising the back more than the front. Is this true or just an illusion from the pics I am looking at. Thanks for any info....
