  1. While it was a 4" installed on my car, the clearance prob for the strut tops is same. It helps a lot to have an extra set of hands (or body weight). If you haven't already, remove the control arm bolt to allow for more play, then have your buddy literally stand on the rotor while you get the blocks in place. Of course with my 4" it was easier, because the engine X-member was already dropped 3", so you could put a jack under it and take out the bolts just long enough to get the lift blocks in. It would be far easier to jack up the engine and put in the member bolts, then stuffing those blocks in! I don't think removing the axle will be necessary. Hope that helps!
