  1. I am switching out stereos from the subaru into my truck, now when i took the one from the sube i thought i would remember which ones were Power - Constant and power - switched, could someone fill me in please? p.s its from an 88' gl wagon
  2. When I hit a deer the first week I had my 88' the fender got pushed in, we went to a JY and the guy didnt listen to us that the bumper had to come off to take the fender off, he almost dismantled the whole front end before taking the bumper off, its a matter of simple knowledge combined with ease of parts that makes these cars great to drive and work on...
  3. Where would a guy in oregon come by a set of some 14" pug steels? Didnt think it was worth a new thread to ask, thnx
  4. Once you pull the code where can you run it to see what it wants you to check?
  5. $500 for Engine, ECU, and wiring harness, not sure about entire car... will keep you guys posted
  6. So if i get this right i would need to get the whole car, beings i would need rear diff and the axles and such, I just need to know what its going to take to put it in and make it run. Thanks for the info and if nothing else i will pick it up and hook someone up on the board.
  7. It just so happens I've come by the situation to pick up a rolled 2003 WRX STi and I was wondering if i could get some speculation on what it would take to put that motor into my 1988 Gl wagon... just a thought beings that picking up the motor, trans, ECU, and Wiring Harness for $500 doesnt seem to bad, thanks in advance for any speculation and feedback on this Idea.
  8. Nice job on the stereo install, I like it!
  9. You could Rhino Line it too
  10. It's kinda fugly, its definitly different thats for sure
  11. If i remember the post right lumpycam was going to go w/ the V8 in his lifted brat... and him saying he ran a V8 in Unhatched, e-mail him?
  12. You'll find that alot around here
  13. When I went up to go a local lake to go find some mud I decided to take some trails just for fun driving. Well while checking the car for the ride down home I had lost a hub cap, not a really big deal car just looks funny, well we went up and down all travel'd trails and couldnt find it, so lesson learned: Remove Hub Caps when your going to go have fun... Just thought i'd share
  14. would this do anything for the N/A EA82? just wondering
  15. I've read the threads on toybuilders EA82T Rebuild and was just wondering because neither me or my dad has done a subaru rebuild, so do you replace the cylinders? Could someone give me a list of things that are done, such as which parts to replace along w/ rebuild such as water pump... oil pump... etc.. thanks again guys for your help and suggestions
