  1. Gary thnx again.....your generosity in volunteering help is awesome....it appears that the 92 Legacy front and rears are the same....also....the fronts are the only problem...the rear shocks never have gone down, so I was looking for a leak up front...weird
  2. they go down when I'm drivin it as well...pull off the freeway drive it till they are pumped up again...back on the freeway and down they go
  3. Thanks Gary...any manuals that have the procedure?...or tips on how to get the airstruts to be reliable...every time I park it...they bleed down
  4. Got airstruts and want to change them out cheaply...like the heighth when fully pumped upso want to have that...tired of the up and down air thing...
  5. Just a thought...my local parts house turned my rotors for free...nice clean braking surface for the new pads...good luck!
  6. Gen. Diso...the thrm is a brand new Xact Stant ...I'm gonna be doing my 1st set of heads ever in my life...lol...the economy got me...lol
  7. THANK YOU FAIRTAX4ME!!!....awesome docs for my torture ahead...lol...Got the tools ...but the problem is, I've always been a belts, pads, starters alternators kinda guy...this is uncharted territory for me...and theeyes don't work so good anymore...lol...wish me luck!
  8. THANK YOU James M .....neither of these part numbers showed up on my local Autozone computer...just called them...gave em your part numbers, and lo and behold they suddenly have both items in stock.....the Manager and I are going to have a little talk when I go pich them up....funny, I went there physically last nite to ask about them, and the counter guy told me they never carried that stuff......I long for the days when a parts guy knew what the hell he was talking about...wasted time...grrrrr
  9. nice idea....I'll give that a shot too...never hurts to double check.....If I have to do the gaskets, is there a good procedure write up anywhere besides a Chilton manual?...
  10. Next gonna test it with a Combustion Vapor Tester and verify the appent demise of my HG's
  11. Re-used the tensioner....compressed it in my vice, 1/2 turn every minute till compressed, put pin in it...and it appeared to expand properly. Can I remover the belts, balancer, and timing covers and run the motor with the TB on to verify pump operation without any damage?
  12. 82 today in So. Cal, and I made Top Ramen for lunch from the heater...it works...
  13. Well General...at least you weren't scared to tell me...lol...This outta be a new experience...never done it b 4...always said I wanted new challenges after I hit 60...but ...DAMN!!
