The last one I had with your symptoms had warped heads. Head gaskets won't do any good if the heads are warped.

I need technical information on an 86 XT (EA82T motor) MPFI Turbo distributor electronic module. Wiring diagram, test procedures, etc.

Thanks, tried all that, used WD40, no corrosion, but still too tight. feels like the shaft or the hole is tapered. Goes in part way, but gets tighter as it goes down.

I replaced a driver side cam carrier housing that was stolen with one from the internet. Now my distributor will not go all the way down and fit properly. The rotor shaft turns freely, but the distributor housing is too big for the mounting hole. Anybody know why?
