  1. Is there an easy way to replace frost plugs. Need to do two in 75DL1400 and &72GSR. Do I need to take the engine out. I have undone the mounts and lifted the motor but not enough room to tap plugs in. Ideas and suggestions thanks.
  2. Thanks for the advice, I will replace with new frost plugs. Cheers Kevin.
  3. Thanks for that. I took the covers off each side and there was a plug blown on both sides. Found the plugs lying in the head. Can these be put back in or would it be better to replace with new ones. Thanks again.
  4. Hj guys been along time since i was on. Have an issue with my GSR. Got it out for the first time in along time. Cleaned it, put water in radiator which seemed to take along time. Cranked her over and oil was coming out the oil filler pipe. Drained oil which was more water. Filled radiator and water came out sump plug. Any ideas as to what may be happening. Cheers Kevin

  8. Thanks for loading the photo's. The yellow GSR at the top is mine. I have to pick it up. The gold GSR is in pretty good nick. The car at the bottom in primer is a 74 GFT. The guy who owns the gold GSR and the GFT owns his own wrecking yard and specialises in old subarus. There is also a FFI in his work shop.
