  1. Wouldn't this be covered by either the emissions or power train warranty?
  2. I have a set of the Kumho Ectsas. Not impressed, but for the $ they're ok. I drive in the Wash DC beltway and I seem to have had more punctures w/ these, but that may be coincidence. They seem to balance well, not esp. quiet w/ some miles on them and they don't seem to hold air pressure as well as other tires I've owned. You won't hate them, but I wouldn't get another set.
  3. Hello: I am having a problem w/ clutch pedal travel (2K Outback). As I drive in stop and go traffic for a time, the pedal travel increases significantly. I can still engage and disengage it and there is no slippage event. Once the car sits for several hours all is back to normal. I tried a search and have not come up with anything. Your thoughts will be appreciated. Cheers
  4. Hi: I lurked on this site several years ago and always found it interesting and infiormative. I have a 2000 OBW, MT, w. 92k miles. I have an CEL that comes on and goes off randomly and I just visited the headgasket survey (ugh!). I wondering with a aging clutch, I live in a metropolitan area, and these other two issues if I shouldn't bite the bullet and trade this in. I can see coming up on $2500 or so in repairs real quick. Your thoughts will be appreciated. Regards, ND
