Hey guys im new to this thread... i picked up an 87 gl-10 1.8 fuel injected suby alittle bit ago..got it running, it needed a new turbo. but now it's got some other smaller issues i can't quite figure out..
Here's a list of what i've done so far..
Tune up-cap, rotor, wires, plugs
fuel filter,
replaced all turbo gaskets..
new O2 sensors.. (are these things supposed to have two or one?all i can see is the one on the side of the CAT)
...
what it's doing is it'll start great..but then die..and wont maintain idle speed..until it warms up, but even then it still struggles to idle unless you keep your foot on the pedal.
while driving if you try to give it more then 1/4 pedal throttle..it wont accelerate very well..if i give it over 1/2 throttle..you can the turbo spool up but it wont go anywhere...?!?! and sometimes it even dies. what gives.?
i checked the compression on the engine a bit ago and remember it was over 150 each cylider...
could this be a fuel issue?.. any help would be great..thank.s:)
